Martin Cash and Piotr Gargas are two locally based contemporary stone sculptors with work throughout Britain and Europe. They work predominantly in British stone to produce totally unique and completely one-off statement pieces for the home and/or garden. Although contemporary artists they maintain a passion for traditional craftsmanship in stone and this explains the continued demand for their skills by the Oxford Colleges and Churches. Throughout the exhibition - weather permitting - they will work on pieces in the garden and encourage visitors to ‘have a go’.
